Our offerings help students better understand themselves and the world. Themes are relevant to their daily lives. Performances for younger students cover topics such as colors, shapes, and emotions. For older students, consider subjects such as heritage, secrets, climate, and refugees.
Emotions, amazement, discovering and understanding together. In primary education we offer students a lot of space to do and experience movements themselves.
The emotions and dancing of a story are central. This way, students experience modern dance instead of just watching it.
With our school performances and side programming, we aim to appeal to children aged 4-6 years with their imagination, emotions and senses. They learn to discover the world inside and outside themselves through dance and are given the opportunity to experience dance as a form of expression and art.

Learning pathways
In collaboration with schools and partners, we have developed three multi-year continuous learning pathways. The students work step by step towards their own choreography.
The Hague Shuffle
Having fun dancing and feeling comfortable in your own skin are the foundation of this curriculum, which we developed together with the GGD. Students will work on dance, improvisation, a sense of music, and the use of space. This curriculum lasts three years, with twelve lessons each year.
Dance heritage
In this program, students learn what heritage is and who determines it. They discover more about each other's heritage. And they choose for themselves which historical dance styles they want to get to know better. This curriculum lasts two years, with fifteen lessons each year. This curriculum is linked to the performance *Van stompvoet tot pirouette *.
Let art move you
Citizenship and art are central to this learning track. The students view and discuss several paintings centered on a single theme. Afterwards, the students choose which paintings they want to develop into dance. This track consists of six lessons. pirouette .
Workshops
You can turn any story, feeling, or theme into a dance. In our dance workshops, students experience the power of dance. We offer a complementary workshop for every school performance. Upon request, we also develop custom workshops.
