In our studio, many different sounds can currently be heard: from Arabic Oed to Ghanaian drums and from Chopin to Abba. We are creating a performance about dance as heritage. Which dances were created when and with what meaning? What did the world and society look like then? And how did music and dance connect to that? In 45 minutes, the children will be shown no fewer than 26 dance styles with a lot of information around them.

This performance is part of a large educational dance program that we have just started. Students from five primary schools in The Hague will work on their heritage. Together with a lot of dance baggage from our lessons, they can create a future new dance style together afterwards!
