In other words, it is someone who prefers to listen to themselves rather than to others. That may not always sound positive, but there is also strength in stubbornness. It takes courage to stay true to who you are and what you believe in.

Artist Panamarenko dreamed of taking his inventions to the skies. He created fantasy objects in surprising shapes and sizes. Whether they could really fly is part of the mystery and he leaves it up to the viewer.

In the performance Eigenwijze Drol the dancer wants nothing more than to be able to fly. She really believes that it is possible and tries again and again, each time in a different way. Her friends think she is crazy and laugh at her, but she is a real stubborn turd and

refuses to give up. The dancers show that stubbornness can be hilarious and heartwarming, but also brings with it the necessary tensions
